This exciting new venue will offer an underground haven for wine and cocktails lovers situated on Melbourne’s bustling Lonsdale Street. The bar is a love letter to Victoria with its menu dedicated almost entirely to celebrating and showcasing the region's finest produce and ingredients. Nestled in the heart of the city, this sophisticated hotspot exudes Melbourne vibes – effortlessly cool, chic, and delightfully inclusive. With plush green velvet seating, gleaming brass accents, and a vibe that's as inviting as it is upscale this new venture is sure to excite locals and visitors to Melbourne alike.

Vinified Sommelier, Luke Campbell, who recently curated the wine list for Pearl Oyster and Chablis bar (Melbourne) has created a largely Victorian based wine list that captures some of the widely and lesser-known regions including the King Valley, Yarra Valley, Gippsland, Stathbogie Ranges, Mornington Peninsula, Beechworth and the Macedon Ranges. Some of the highlights include Oakdene Sparkling Brut NV – Geelong ; Fighting Gully Road Verdicchio – Beechworth and Dalwhinne 'Mesa' Syrah, Pyrennes.
This wine list sits alongside a collection of unique, seasonal and finely crafted cocktails that you can experience with all the senses. Collecting only the finest selection of quality spirits, along with locally sourced syrups, shrubs and bitters some of the highlights include the Wangaratta Fingerlime Sour containing a Cucumber Infused Gin, Finger Lime Washed Triple Sec, Citrus; the Ballarat Star Martini containing a Passionfruit Wash Vodka, White Chocolate, Passionfruit Citrus, Passion Fruit Puree and Melbourne’s Gospel Toffee which contains Maple Butter Wash Rye, Paperback Smoke.
The food offering is again a nod to the exceptional Victoria produce focusing on the charcuterie scene across the state. Some of the highlights from this menu include Shepherd’s Whey indulge Goetrichum and Farmhouse Brie, Long Paddock Silver Wattle, and Milawa King River Gold all matched with wine suggestions.
Officially opening to the public from Friday 17th May the basement bar sits on the corner of Lonsdale Street and Hardware Street and for those wanting a more exclusive experience a beautifully presented private dining room is available, decorated banket seating, tables with velvet chairs.
